冬天 : A Matching Puzzle for Chinese Learners
We used the following words in the puzzles:
手套 (shǒutào) - Gloves
毛衣 (máoyī) - Sweater
火锅 (huǒguō) - Hot pot
冬天 (dōngtiān) - Winter
冬至 (Dōngzhì) - Winter Solstice (a major festival)
冰 (bīng) - Ice
冰糖葫芦 (bīngtáng húlu) - Candied hawthorn berries (on a stick)
羽绒服 (yǔróngfú) - Down jacket (puffer jacket)
围巾 (wéijīn) - Scarf
春节 (Chūnjié) - Chinese New Year / Spring Festival
保暖 (bǎonuǎn) - To keep warm
饺子 (jiǎozi) - Dumplings (traditionally eaten for Winter Solstice)
结冰 (jiébīng) - To freeze over / To ice up
热巧克力 (rè qiǎokèlì) - Hot chocolate
雪 (xuě) - Snow
滑冰 (huábīng) - Ice skating
滑雪 (huáxuě) - Skiing
寒风 (hánfēng) - Cold wind / Bitter wind
雾凇 (wùsōng) - Rime ice (frost on trees)
暖气 (nuǎnqì) - Heating / Radiator
霜 (shuāng) - Frost
